About Nära Jorden

We’re Adrien, Ingrid, and Luke—three friends who believe real food should come from real people, rooted in real places.

Nära Jorden means “close to the earth” in Swedish, and that’s exactly where we want to stay. We partner with local farmers who care for the land and their animals with deep respect, and we’re here to offer organ meats the way nature intended: nutrient-rich, ethically sourced, and lovingly prepared.

This isn’t just about what’s on your plate. It’s about reconnecting with food that feels right—the kind that reminds your body of something it’s been missing. We’ve each had our own health struggles over the years, and in that search for healing, we rediscovered the incredible power of simple, ancestral foods.

We know organ meats might not be on everyone’s weekly shopping list - yet. But we also know they’ve nourished generations before us for a reason. When sourced well and prepared with care, they’re one of the most powerful whole food supplements nature has to offer.

We started Nära Jorden because we believe the best way to care for your health, your community, and the planet is to return to what’s real and local. And maybe have a little fun along the way.

What Grounds Us

These are the values that guide every decision we make. They’re the ground we stand on-the roots that keep this project inspiring and alive.

Local Roots, Real Connections

From the animals to the farmers, from the packaging to the partnerships, our aim is to keep everything as local as possible. That’s how we support thriving communities, reduce our ecological footprint, and stay connected to the land that sustains us.

Whole Foods, Whole Health

We’re here to make deeply nourishing foods more accessible, especially those that come from local farms where animals are treated with dignity and care. Health isn’t about restriction; it’s about reconnection.

Nothing Wasted, Everything Honoured

Eating meat means an animal gave its life, a farmer gave their care, and the earth gave its abundance — sun, rain, soil, and more. We believe in honouring that gift fully. Organs are the most nutrient-rich part of the animal, yet they’re often discarded. We want to bring them back into the circle of nourishment, with deep respect.

Joy as Our Compass

At every meeting, we ask: “Is this choice supporting our deeper wish to follow joy?” If the answer is no, we know it’s time to pause and realign. We believe that when people live from a place of joy, the world becomes more sane, more vibrant, and definitely more delicious.

Old Wisdom, Modern Tables

Again and again, our research and personal healing journeys led us to the wisdom of ancestral diets: simple, whole, and rich in organ meats. This isn’t a trend for us; it’s a remembering. And it’s closer than you might think — just ask your parents or grandparents. Chances are, wherever they grew up, organ meats were on the table: pies, stews, and sausages — nourishing meals now often forgotten in our fast-paced modern diets.

At Nära Jorden, I’m driven by a deep wish to bridge the gaps in modern nutrition and women’s health — bringing ancestral wisdom back to the table in ways that feel simple, nourishing, and alive. My background in nutrition and years spent sourcing natural spices and essential oils from around the world have taught me that true nourishment begins with connection — to body, soil, and season.

I love connecting with the farmers we work with, who are keepers of ancestral knowledge and remind me that food can connect us to land, gratitude, and hope. As a somatic coach, I’m drawn to the intelligence of the body and what it means to live in an ancient, cyclical body within a modern world. For me, nourishment is both care and strength. Cooking has become a ritual through which I prepare, restore, and sustain vitality — a way to listen to what the body truly needs.

Most likely to be found: wandering forest paths, slow-cooking meals, or dancing with her daughter.
